Use a soft bristled tooth brush. Flossing is important more than brushing, food particles get trapped between the teeth and starts to decay causing the odor. Mouth wash can be used to rinse the mouth after brushing and flossing but if the first two are done correctly mouth wash is not neccassary. The last thing is to invest into a tongue scraper and clean the tongue or use your tooth brush.

Keep your mouth hydrated, a dry mouth will enhance bad breath. It is best to drink water too because drings loaded with sugar will contribute to tooth decay and bad breath. Natural foods can help to keep the breath fresh and clean, try eating an apple, raw carrots or parsley instead of chewing gum.
